Ummm.... I think?? you mean Nios I 3.2?

Nios II is only on 1.0 so far.

I don't know if there is a free download for Nios I.

Marketing might know who is responsible for the web edition of Quartus II (I'll ask them to take a look at this topic).

No, Quartus II Web Edition version 4.1 does not support physical synthesis optimizations. For this you will need the full Quartus II subscription.

Also, as Kerri said, there is no Nios II v3.2, and the first generation Nios version 3.2 is not available for download. You should contact your local Altera representative or the Altera support hotline if you urgently need this release. Nios II release 1.0, however, is available for download at: www.altera.com/niostestdrive (http://www.altera.com/niostestdrive).

    Sorry, Nios I 3.2.

As I know, sb. tells me, free Full License could be got by colleges by proper reasons -- I'm a college student, and I'm now taking part in a competetion organized by ALTERA, so I really need a full license of Quartus II and a full Nios core for our design. Who knows where should I get them?

    thx.

You don't need a full license for Quartus anymore. You can run it for a year without one.

Just make sure you're on the latest full version and run away :-)

Are you on the university program for Nios boards and stuff?

email me off line if you are or aren't.

I have read about the program document, but here is, we are about enroll a competetion, our university already join the program, we have already got the development kit, and a full license, but these are all to the lab, The key is I want a full license for me to study at home-- because our lab haven't got any internet connection, you know, I'm a new to this, and I'm majored in Computer Science $ Technology, not Digital Design, but I want to learn these, I am really need a full Quartus II at home, so I can studying while online.

So who can help me to get a latest full Quartus II with full license?
