    No.

The FLEX10K family lacks the internal connection between the JTAG port and the FPGA fabric. This feature was only introduced when the NIOS processor came along, so that Altera could implement processor debug/communications.

Do you mean that i can not program Flex device using JTAG?

If yes , How and it is mentioned in USB Blaster user guide that support FLEX device in page 1-1

    thanks for your fast reply

You can program the device with JTAG.

However, you asked whether you can perform "logic analysis" using "SignalTap", which you cannot do.

So these will be to me a problem

because i want FPGA with this specs: 5v power , i/o more than 190 , LE more than 2000 , not be BGA , as well as support signal tap.

I did not find any cyclone that meets this specs, did you?

How many of the I/O are 5V signals?

You can interface 5V signals to 3.3V FPGAs using either active buffers, or bus-switch buffers.

What are you trying to implement/interface to?

We connect all i/o (all data ,all address , ...etc) of 5v processor to FPGA

But how many signals is that? I don't think it is 190.

Do you have to use a 5V processor?

Why not consider using a newer generation processor, eg., a Freescale MPC8308 400MHz PowerPC is $20, a TI AM3359 750MHz ARM Sitara processor is $15.

    Cheers,
