Need Part EOL status(Active/Obsolete/Discontinued/NRND)

Can you please provide Part status for part PL-USB-BLASTER-RCN. If Obsolete can you provide drop in replacement?
Additionally let me know difference between the primary part and the suggested replacement part.

    Hi,

    PL-USB-BLASTER-RCN is obsolete.

A compatible replacement is the Terasic USB Blaster, which is still active and available.

I hope this helps clarify. I will close this thread for now. If you need further support, please feel free to open a new topic.

    Regards,
    Fakhrul

Could you please provide the datasheet for the suggested replacement part (Terasic USB Blaster)?

Additionally, it would be helpful if you could highlight the key differences and changes between the suggested replacement and the obsolete part (PL-USB-BLASTER-RCN), particularly in terms of functionality, compatibility, and performance.

        Hi giriyna,

PL-USB-BLASTER-RCN is obsolete, and based on the available public information, the Terasic USB Blaster can be used as a compatible alternative for standard USB-Blaster usage; please refer to the Terasic product page and user guide/manual

From the public documentation, the key differences we can confirm are that it is a Terasic-supplied cable, Terasic states better anti-noise capability, and Rev. B supports target JTAG voltage from 1.2 V to 3.3 V.
At this time, we do not have an official public document with a full one-to-one comparison against PL-USB-BLASTER-RCN across all functionality, compatibility, and performance details. I hope this helps clarify.

        Regards,
        Fakhrul
