JTAG - USB blaster 2 does not identify the FPGA

Hi,

I am using the Programmer to load the FPGA. This is Quartus 23.4

When I select USB-1 and click on "Auto Detect", it shows me a list of options for the FPGAs.

Issue: FPGA that I am using is not shown in this list. I am using FPGA with part number AGIB027R31A2E2VB (99C7XH)

Please let me know how to proceed. I want to program the FPGA and then run transceiver toolkit for BER test

Thanks,

Ranjith

  • Yeah, it doesn't really matter which device you pick in the auto detect dialog (which is something that has confused me for years). When you select your programming file, it will get the correct device from that.

    JTAG ID and FPGA chip are the same for different packages. Load the programming file, it should show the projected FPGA.

    @FvM @sstrell ,

    Thanks for the response.

    I am able to program the device and load the transceiver toolkit.

    The auto detect dialog was throwing me off

    Thanks,
