Quartus 23.3 "Channel closed" error

Hi,

I am using Q23.3 and it throws a "Channel closed" error after running BER test for a while (~5/10 mins). I am running BER test for PAM4 channels.

I have tried downgrading the JTAG blaster speed from 24MHz to 6MHz, but this did not help solve the issue

Please advice. See attached screenshotQuartus 23.3 toolkit

Thanks,

Ranjith

  • Hi Ranjith,

Can you please try with the latest Quartus version 23.4 and let me know if you still face the same issue.

    Thank you,

      Hi Kshitij,

Quartus version 23.4 is not available for use yet. As per my knowledge, Q23.4 is not yet released.

Please let me know how to proceed.

      Thanks,

23.4 came out in December. It's always <year>.<quarter> for the version number.
