Hi, While trying to compile the project in Altera_quartus linux environment quartus_map fails abruptly with the following message. > Running quartus_map input in flex scanner failed. What is the reason behind this failure ?

Running quartus_map

input in flex scanner failed

mv: cannot stat '/home/nis/abd/svn/hw/trunk/pd/fpgas/cfpga/par/cfpga.map.rpt': No such file or directory

ERROR: quartus_map exited with Non-Zero Error code

See /home/nis/abd/svn/hw/trunk/pd/fpgas/cfpga/par/cfpga.map.err for details

See /home/nis/abd/svn/hw/trunk/pd/fpgas/cfpga/par/cfpga.map.log for details

    Hi Aneesh,

    May I know following info for better investigation

    1. OS type and version
    2. Your machine spec
    3. Quartus type and version

    Can you navigate to this path in your directory /home/nis/abd/svn/hw/trunk/pd/fpgas/cfpga/par/cfpga.map.log and share the log file here and cfpga.map.err as well
