Hello, 

 

From your description: "Do you really need the Vcc-to-Gnd resistance of a board that works enough to let us configure its logic and boot the internal processor? No shorts on the board." 

 

Meaning - the units at your concern are function as expected? I need all this information before I escalate to engineering. 

How about the power consumption in user mode(after device configured+ cooling fan on) , do you see any unexpected current spike?
