System PLL of Agliex5 PCIE example design cannot be locked after configuration
Hi all, The device is Agilex 5 E series FPGA, development kit is plugged in main board via a x16 card edge. Both System PLL reference clock and PCIE AXI Stream Hard IP reference clock are driven from PCIE card edge. After power up, IO PLL locked but System PLL cannot be locked, PCIE hard IP remains in reset status, regardless the configuration method of FPGA (that is, via JTAG or QSPI flash). Here are my questions: 1、Is it valid for System PLL to have its reference clock driven from PCIE card edge？According to 4.1.1 of GTS AXI Streaming IP for PCI Express* User Guide: Agilex 5 and Agilex 3 FPGAs and SoCs (ug813754), reference clock for System PLL should from a independent and free-running local clock source. 2、If the answer of above question is positve, how should I debug to make the System PLL work? Hello Intel support team, My concern is mentioned below. I would like to know the Life cycle status of CPLD with P/N: EPM240T100C4N and EPM240T100I5N. I have noticed, that one of the released PDN document (Revision 1.0.0 PDN Issue Date: 12/04/2020) contains above highlighted Part nos as discontinued parts. There is updated PDN document (Revision 2.0.0 PDN Issue Date: 03/19/2021) available, where these parts are removed from discontinued part list. I would like to confirm from you about its Life cycle status and its Longevity in the market. Please find attached both the PDNs for your quick reference. Your valuable reply will help significantly. EPM240T100A5N Max II EOL Notification
Dear Intel Community, My name is Zeki, and i am working as component enginner for aviation company. We are going to use MAX II family EPM240T100A5N part numbered CPLD for future projects. Also we are already use EPM570ZM256I8N numbered CPLD. When i looked the PDN2401 part numbered PCN document, at the beginning of the document, it said that the MAX II family will be end of life and the part numbers of the components that will be EOL are given below, but i didn't see the part number that we wanted to use (EPM240T100A5N). Is there any obsolesece for EPM240T100A5N? If it will be obsolete is there any alternate for MAX family?Request of info on Altera EPM7032AETI44-7N replacement
