Questa - license problem
I have installed Questa Altera Starter 25.2. It works at home. But when I open this software at the university compound, I get the following error and can’t use it – “Unable to checkout a viewer license necessary for use of the Questa Altera Starter FPGA Edition graphical user interface. Vsim is closing.” Please find attached the screenshot of the problem.
New Quartus/Questa license Questa Issue
I received a fulfillment message to generate a new license and the dates are all correct, however Questa FPGA 25.1 does not work. In looking at the new license, I see the Questa version is 2024.8, could this be the issue? Note, the SALT path is set to the correct license file. Support said since I am non-commercial (ASAP partner), I have to post here. This is holding up a project. IP Base Suite (NCO, FFT & FIR) not included in ASAP licenses
Dear Altera The NCO, FFT and FIR IP core licenses were previously in the IP Base Suite Package, as part of the Altera partner licenses. This package is not included in the ASAP partner licenses anymore. It also does not seem to be included in the (SW-PARTNER-IPA) license, as I don't see their license numbers there. How do obtain licenses for these 3x IP cores as part of the ASAP partner licenses? Kind regards Piet
Quartus Lite 23.1 MAX 10 Encryption
Trying to work through configuring our MAX 10 device for encryption. Best I can tell so far I need a license to unlock this feature? I tried navigating through the Altera Self Servicing License Center and was unable to find anything. Can you please inform how I can obtain a license?Quartus Prime license rehosted, unable to run
Hi, We are unable to use our Quartus Prime license after switching to a new physical laptop. Product: FPGA Dev Tools Quartus® Prime Software SW-ONE-QUARTUS The license was rehosted from the old computer ID to the new primary computer ID. The rehost/update appears to have completed successfully, but the license still cannot be activated/used on the new machine. Environment/details: Windows 11 FlexNet Licensing v11.19.6.0 Single-server setup License file path: C:\flexlm\license.dat lmgrd TCP port: 1800 Relevant log excerpt: (lmgrd) Starting vendor daemons ... What should we check or change to make the Quartus license work after rehosting?
Free Licence for Max+PlusII
Hello to all, the ALTERA Support request to ask my question here in this forum, so I am here ;-) I tried to request a legacy Licence file form my old Max+PlusII (baseline 10.2) SW. I got the login, the page, but when I have to add my machine ID (which is based om the MAC address, for example) it always answers with invalid ID. How can I request a licence for this old SW (optimum an unlimited one ...) Greetings Chris OE3CPA
SSLC Login Issue – "You need to enroll" loop after OTP verification
Hi, I am facing an issue with the Altera Self Service Licensing Center (SSLC). Problem: - I enrolled at licensing.altera.com successfully - I receive the OTP verification code on my email - After entering the OTP correctly, it shows: "Access to the SSLC portal requires registration Register here to get started." - This creates an infinite loop and I cannot access the portal at all I need to generate a free Questa Intel FPGA Starter Edition (SW-QUESTA) license for use with Quartus Prime Lite 24.1. Things I already tried: - Enrolled with two different email IDs - Tried Chrome, Edge, and Incognito mode - Cleared cookies and cache. Could you please either: 1. Fix my account access, OR 2. Manually generate and send the license.dat file to my email My registered email: [email protected] Thank you.

Go to the Self-Service Licensing Center on the Altera website to manage your licenses (https://fpgasupport.intel.com/Licensing/license/index.html). ??? whats going on with this quartus pro 26.1 software ??? any ideas ? better to stick with vivado ?
