It's not clear what the issue is.  Can you not use Quartus 25.1?

    For my projects

    Using version 25.1 requires some adjustments.

    I need version 17.0, which requires no adjustments.

        version 18.0      It behaves like version 17.0

    Hello 

    I tried to open the exemple in the source

    "Detailed Description • Arria® 10 FPGA – Simple Socket Server for the Nios® V/m Processor Design Example • Altera Documentation and Resources Center"

    The example file "top.par"

    But unfortunately, I couldn't open it

    I keep getting the message: "Design template installation failed."

    is there any solution? Thanks in advance.

      Make sure use the supported version for the example design
