Hi MichaelL 

It appears that the IP versioning mechanism has not been properly maintained in the Quartus software. Our tool specialist will fix this issue in a future Quartus release, starting from version 26.1.1. Unfortunately, there is currently no workaround for this error.

    MichaelL Are you ok to wait for the Quartus 26.1.1 release? 
    FYR, the Quartus 26.1.1 is scheduled to be release on July–August 2026 time frame.

      RichardT_altera​ Are there any alternatives than waiting for Quartus 26.1.1? I don't think we will take the risk of upgrading to a new Quartus version only for the signal tap, but at least we know that there is nothing we can do atm.

        MichaelL​ We can proceed with a patch request, but a business justification is required.
        Please contact your local Altera authorized distributor (DFAE) and provide the necessary justification.
        They will assist in filing an APS case for the patch request based on the provided information.
