Quartus Prime Lite 23.1 hangs on "Checking file integrity, please wait..."

Hello,

I'm attempting to install Quartus Prime Lite 23.1std.0.991 for Windows.

Current setup is a 2017 iMac (Intel Core i5) with Windows 10 via VMware Fusion.

All progress bars indicate 100% with File Integrity column showing "load wheels" for all installation items. I've stopped and restarted download, no change.

Any help would be appreciated!

  • I just completed the installation of Quartus Standard 23.1 Build 991 on Windows 10, using the new Installer, and it was successful.

Could you please share a screenshot of the issue and also provide the log for debugging purposes?

You should see something similar like this, after the installer Checking file integrity.

Tue Jan 2 10:11:39 2024 INFO: Checking file integrity ...

Tue Jan 2 10:11:57 2024 INFO: Download successful

Tue Jan 2 10:11:57 2024 INFO: Total download time: 4 mins 56 secs

    Tue Jan 2 10:11:57 2024 INFO: Do install ...

    Tue Jan 2 10:11:57 2024 INFO: Path: C:/intelFPGA/23.1

Have you checked whether there are green checkmarks for each downloaded file in the File Integrity column?

Could you manually check whether the files has been downloaded in the download folder that you indicated?

If all files are there, you may try to install manually. Do take note to ensure that the sha1 value of the downloaded file, must match with that mentioned on the webpage.

    QuartusSetup-23.1std.0.991-windows.exe

    cyclonev-23.1std.0.991.qdz

Hi, thank you for the quick response. I ended up redownloading with the same issue except that all the files had downloaded properly and were able to be launched from the start menu. This may be due to my VM.
  • If I understand correctly, in your VM, the installer tool able to download all the files successfully, but when it comes to checking file integrity, it just stuck there?

And you manually install the quartus .exe file instead of getting the tool to auto install, right ?
