Quartus 13.1 web edition : No .pof produced

Hi,

I am using Quartus 13.1 Web edition and I have done a project that seems to work fine with .sof file programer.

And now, I would like to permanent program it, but no .pof file is in output file directory...

Do I have missed something ?

(My english is poor, sorry, french people are not so fluent in other language)

Thank in advance

Benoit

You need to go to file -> convert programming file

You create a .pof from the output .pof file.

You can also create other formats from assignmnets-> device settings -> device and pin options -> programming files (but you cant create a pof this way).

If you are getting a SOF, then it should generate a POF is you have the device setting to Active Serial.

But you can still generate a POF from a SOF using the convert programing files under the files menu.

If you are not getting a SOF, then you are probably targeting a newer device that only has advanced support enabled in 13.1

It's a good idea to have a look to the device settings 'Active Serial' but not enough !

My alternate choice is your suggest : generate POF from SOF. And it works.

But i did used older version of Quartus that automaticly generate the .POF, certainly I have to check box somewhere but i have not find which one.

Thanks Pete and Tricky for your suggest.
