PLL Clock Forwarding

Hello,

I'm using an Arria V device and I want to send an internally PLL generated clock to an output pin.

What's the recommended procedure for this ?

1. Connect the output of the PLL directly to the pin.

2. Connect the output of the PLL to an ALTCLKCTRL and connect the output of the ALTCLKCTRL to the output pin.

    Can I know output pin used is dedicated clock pin ? if yes then there is not need to use the ALTCLK buffer in between pin and the PLL output.
