Cyclone 10 LP in Quartus 15.1 Prime

Hi
I have installed and licensed Quartus Prime 15.1 with Cyclone V, however, I will migrate the program to Cyclone 10 LP. Looking on the website to download the necessary files, it is not possible to find any Quartus files of this version, not even the Cyclone 10 LP files. I even have the files for installing Quartus 15.1 and Cyclone V. But I need the Cyclone 10 LP installation file and I can't find it. Is it possible to install and program the Cyclone 10 LP via Quartus 15.1 Prime?
Regards, Mario

  • If you plan to go for the latest Quartus version, which I would recommend, then all is good. If, for whatever reason, you need to get Quartus version 15, then there must be a valid NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) between Intel and your company.

Let me know if an NDA exists, and I will send you an email to get the required information.

If there is no NDA signed, please contact your local Intel sales representative or distributors (e.g., Arrow, Macnica) to sign a new NDA, and they will help you request the specific software as well.

Quartus Prime 15.1 is discontinued from public download. You will not be able to find it anymore.

You will need to download the latest supported Quartus version 23.1.1 for the Cyclone 10 LP device, or an older version like 17.0 if you do not want to jump too much between versions.

    Hi,

So if I need to download any files to Quartus 15 will I need to contact my local Intel sales representative or distributors? For example, if I want to download Cyclone IV and Cyclone V to install on Quartus 15 do I need to look for distributors that the company I work for bought Quartus?

    Regards, Mario.

Yes, you can contact them to see if they can help you with the process of signing an NDA agreement between Altera/Intel and your company.

    Hi,
We haven't decided yet on the Cyclone of the next project, but I believe my doubts have been answered. So for now we are not going to look for our distributor, we will wait to be sure which way we are going to follow before taking the next step.

    Thank you.

Thank you for acknowledging the solution provided.

If you are starting a new design/project, it is recommended to use the latest supported Quartus version for the targeted device. If at any point the distributor is not able to help with the NDA, feel free to file a new forum case for assistance.
