Cannot Select Device Family Other than Cyclone X

Hello, I recently installed Intel Quartus Prime Pro 24.2 on RHEL8 with all of the supported device families selected during installation. When I try to create a new project, I cannot select a family...

Sounds like missing Quartus Pro license. Only Cyclone 10 GX can be used without license.

Even without a license, you'd still be able to select a different installed device family.

What other families did you install? If it's Agilex, there is a common file for all Agilex devices as well as one for a specific family (Agilex 3, 5, 7, 9). You have to install the common file along with the family specific one.

    Yeah, that's what I had thought.

    I installed all device families and I made sure each of the boxes were ticked during installation. When trying to rerun the installer and pointing it to the existing installation, it looks like it checks for the appropriate files and sure enough, they are already installed, so I don't think the issue is that some file is missing necessarily.
