uClinux port to Stratix IIEP2S60

Had some projects implemented in Stratix IIEP2S60, on Stratix Dev. kit and stand alone FPGA also.

Need Ethernet or USB and some good linux benefits. So started thinking about applying Linux.

But so many topics read are all about Cyclone and Nios II dev. kit.

Simple question, is uClinux good and ready for all Altera's SoPC? Or theoretically saying, good for any system based on Nios II, but some need to wait for Kernel support patchs?

Thanks

Are you succeed in running uClinux ? if possible, I would like to know which FPGA configuration is used by you (cpu options, TCM, jtag uart or serial uart....etc..). Thanks in advance.

If your boards have more than 8MB SDRAM, they can run uClinux.

It does not matter dev board or custom boards, nor stratix and cyclone.

    You may follow the wiki.

For eth and usb, if you use PCI then there are a lot of drivers.

If you go without PCI, you can use

    DM9000A or SMC91c111 for eth

    ISP1761 or ISP1362 for usb.[/b]
