ADC daughter board ?

Hello,

I am currently looking for a daughter board (Nios proto header format)

implementing multi-channel ADCs. Current sampling rate need isn't high,

1 Ms/s would do for now, but I'd need 8 channels.

Anyone a suggestion ?

Thx in advance,

Bert

    I've never seen one.

That said, it wouldn't be too difficult to design your own. analog devices (http://www.analog.com/), ti (http://www.ti.com/), and other companies sell ADCs, and all you need to add to that would be the signal conditioning stuff (Analog Devices or TI again). If your design is simple enough, you could make it on a two-layer board cheaply at expresspcb (http://www.expresspcb.com/). Then you'll be able to get exactly what you want.

    Just a thought.

    Hi bcuzeau,

How handy are you with a soldering iron? http://forum.niosforum.com/work2/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif

You could build your own board pretty easily using the following parts from digikey:

    1 MAX118CPI [digikey# MAX118CPI-ND, $13.44 CAN] (28-pin DIP, 8-bit ADC, 8-channels, 1Msps, single 5V supply)

    1 Proto Board [digikey# V2010-ND, $8.90 CAN] (4" x 4")

    2 36x2 Female Header [digikey# 929975-01-36-ND, $4.33 CAN] (36 x 2 female header)

    1 wire to do connections

8 connections to your analog outputs (SMA connectors?)
