I've tapped the hsync input to the scaler and during the vblank period there is no change in the +ve or -ve duration of the hsync signal. I'm reading a +ve pulse width of 32px, and a -ve pulse width of 1666px - steady as a rock. From the outside, the signal is equally steady.
