Need help with the VIP / NEEK / DE2

I must be dense; but, I'm having a devil of a time.

I'm trying to build a simple Video IN (NTSC) to 800x600 NI VGA output, using the Altera VIP.

Has anyone been able to build this setup on either the NEEK or the DE2, using the Altera VIP?

If so could you help me do the same?

    No, I have not.

    But I think the application note no.427 will be helpful for you.

    Seems that you will be the first once you work it all out.

    Well, I'm getting close; I need to get a handle on the frame buffers (External memory interface) and Clocked Input.

    Hi,

    have you managed with using VIP on DE2 resources?

    I try to generated test pattern and sent it to VGA. After compilation with some warnings about missing parameters like "samples" in file "alt_vip_IS2Vid.v", program is not working.

    Any idea?

    Somebody did an example VIP design for the NEEK that allowed you to resize the video input and move it around on the screen. I'm trying to find it now...
