Super loop Ethernet connectivity

Hello,

I am using Quartus II 10.0sp1. I'd like to implement an Ethernet connectivity using the super loop (without using uc/OS-II).

I failed to run the design example found in altera wiki; as it built on version 7.1.

Can any one advise me on a document to read or another design example that can be used as a good starting point. (I do not want to use NIOS command shell and all examples I've seen are using it.)

Thanks in advance

So you have been unable to get this working still?

If that's so, if I get anywhere I'll let you know.

What have you tried or looked at so far?

Another option I'm looking at is the webserver example for the de2-115.

I did not yet solve this problem :(.

I am trying to browse the NicheStack library as well as the simple socket server source files to find what I should make to use the superloop mode.

    I really appreciate your support.

    Thank you.

I take it you haven't tried any of the examples using the uCos?

Also what hardware have you got. I've got a DE2-115 (cyclone iv) and trying to get any style of ethernet up on that.

It doesn't seem too many people on this site are willing to help people out. Hopefuly we can work it out and change that. I'd still appreciate any help that anyone else can give on ethernet, superloop or not.

    Hi,

I am using Cyclone III development board & I successfully ran the simple socket server on it.

If you need any help you are welcomed.

    Thanks & Regards.

    Hello vlsidc,

I also have SSS with uCOSII running on the Cyclone III NEEK, but having difficulty getting it to fit on my custom board that has only 512MB of SRAM rather than the 1MB SSRAM that is on the NEEK system. I am desperately tring to get the SSS, or even better the SSS Plus, working in a smaller SRAM footprint. Superloop mode of SSS Plus seems to be a good direction for me, but I am still struggling to implement it. Fisrt on NEEK, then on my board.

Do you have experience with SSS in Superloop running on NEEK or any other platform?

PS: I am working with Quartus II v11.0 sp1
