standalone FPGA chip that can support DDR5 with inquire of price and part number

Hi,

Good afternoon!

I am Shawn. I am a Signal Integrity Engineer. I am currently working on a project to design the test board for the DDR5. I am working on picking a FPGA or controller standalone chip to drive the DDR5. I see Intel sells the DK-DEV-AGM039FES Agile 7 M series FPGA board which cost about $9999. I was wondering if intel sells any standalone FPGA chip that i can purchase from to finish my layout design alone with the DDR5 chip? Could you help me with this? Please kindly provide the price for the FPGA standalone chip that can drive DDR5.

Thanks,

Shawn

    Hi Shawn,

I'm Adzim from Altera. I will assist you in this thread.

The DDR5 support is available in Agilex 7 M-series FPGA and Agilex 5 FPGA.

Since you are already checking the Agilex 7 development kit, I think you want to use Agilex 7 M-series with DDR5.

You may need to check with the Altera Distributor for the price and part number that suitable to your design.

You may find the distributor at your region from this link: https://altera.com/contact.html#4257225834-3244616745

I think Altera doesn't provide DDR5 chips besides the package of the development kit.

The distributor may help you with DDR5 chips.

    Regards,

    Adzim
