Nios II and TSE MAC Licence

Hi Everybody,

I would like to buy the licence for NIOS II and TSE MAC which also suits for Quartus II 14.0 (64 bit) Web Edition. The IP which I see for my project in compilation report:

1. NIOSII Processor (6AF7_00A2)

2. Tripple-Speed Ethernet

I would like to have the IP which also fit with my version of Quartus.

I remember there is a single licence(couldn't remeber exact name of the licence ) which includes these both IPs and cost round about 500-600 USD.

I tried to find this licence on the Altera Website, but I couldn't find it.

Could anybody please give the link where this IP is to buy and information about the buying process?

Best Regards

    Hi Cris72,

    Thank you.

I would like to know the IPs which I mentioned above is same for every version of Quartus II? or one has to be specify for which version of Quartus II, it is needed.

I am using DE2-115 board which has cyclone IVE FPGA. Does it(board/device) also make any difference while selecting those IP?

    Best Regards

You purchase the license for the IP itself, independently from the Quartus version or FPGA device you are targeting.

The IP license is linked to the machine where Quartus is installed. When you activate a license on your machine, a unique license file is generated by Altera based on NIC MAC or disk SN.

If you upgrade Quartus you can use the same license file, while if you move to another PC you need a new license file.
