MegaWizard Plug-In Manager : ALTPLL [Corrupted in Quartus Prime Lite 25.1]

This is a newly discovered bug in:
"Quartus Prime Version 25.1std.0 Build 1129 10/21/2025 SC Lite Edition".

As stated in the subject, I am encountering corruption of ALTPLL both at the graphical level and in the IP upgrade process. To confirm this, here is a screenshot.

        Hi,

        no reason to apologize. Just wanted to inform that there's a previous discussion with solutions. Forum search isn't very purposeful yet. I e.g. didn't find out how to perform an explicite and conjunction of terms, can be my fault.

      Due to this is bug is present in PLL IP, which is used in nearly every design - it would be great to have available patch for it to not let wait the users for next release of Quartus Prime Lite/Standard editions. The releases of Quartus Prime Lite/Standard in past usually comes in autumn, which is quite long time.

    Hi,

     

    I understand the concern about waiting for the next release for the fix.

    To let you know, we are working closely on this to provide the patch for the current Quartus version.

     

    We also published an article regarding this issue, so in the meantime, you can try the workaround provided. Once we have the patch ready, the article will be updated to include the patch.
