MAX10 Bitstreams Authentication

We want to evaluate the use of MAX10 FPGA to support authentication and security features in a new design, based on an existing platform.

We reviewed the MAX10 Configuration User Guide, specifically Section 2.2.2 (Configuration Design Security), and would appreciate further clarification on the following points:

1. Could you elaborate on the recommended external system-level control components mentioned for implementing authentication, considering that MAX10 devices do not include native bitstream authentication?
2. What are the suggested approaches or architectures for implementing authentication using soft IP within the MAX10?
3. Are there any reference designs available that demonstrate such an implementation (e.g., combining external components with internal soft IP)?
4. Can you provide more details about the authentication-related soft IP referenced in the documentation?
5. Additionally, are you aware of any third-party solutions or vendors that provide suitable authentication IP compatible with MAX10?
