Honored ContributorI want to use different oscillator
Hi
I am using MAX II Micro Kit. In my application i need to use 32.768Mhz oscillator. Can i replace 50 Mhz oscillator with 32.768 Mhz? If i change it, will i have programming problems? how can i use different oscillator by MAX II Micro Kit? Thanks in advance11 Replies
Altera_ForumI coincudencely found the problem. I did not change anything as hardware but I changed the folder name because it has space in it. I can program it now. I found this solution by searching something else for modelsim altera.

Did You check if the oscillator itself works? Using a scope ofcourse.

Replacing 50 Mhz with 32.768 can be the problem??? or should i use my osc as an input?

You sure it's MHz, no kHz? Should work afaik.

I replaced 50 MHz osc on board with 32.768 MHz. ( I checked again it is written 32.768 MHz. Anyway it is equal to 32768 kHz) I couldn't program the fpga. I don't know the problem. Do you have an idea?
