EPCS4 controller problem

Hello, every one

I'm using an Altera FPGA on my board. It is EP2C8Q208C7.

I was programming my board using the .jic file with EPCS4 when the power was interrupted. Apter restarted my board, I tried to program it again but did not successful. There was an error: "The flash loader IP not loaded on device 1". Now I cannot program my board any more.

Please help me and give me some advices.

Thank you!

Regards.

Are you still able to program the Cyclone device via JTAG. Also, when using the JIC method, you must make sure you've checked the Cyclone to be programmed in addition to the EPCS device. The Quartus programmer will first load the "flash loader IP" into the Cyclone device, then it will download the configuration into the EPCS via the Cyclone.

    Thank you,

I tried to program the Cyclone device via JTAG using the .sof file, the process also reached 100% but the board did not work correctly. I've programed using .jic file sometimes before, and it was successful but, this time, when the Quartus was programming Cyclone, the power supply for the board was interrupted, and it did not load completely. There might be some problem with the FPGA, but I dont know. I've also searched for solution on google but does not find any. Please give me some suggestions. :(

Before you try anything else, you need to be able to successfully program the FPGA via JTAG. Focus on that first.

    Thanks for your reply,

I will try to program the Cyclone with JTAG. However, hope that there will be some solution for this problem, because in my place, the power are interrupted very often.

    Everything is ok now,

I configured directly the EPCS4 using Active serial. No problem with FPGA, may be the board does not work correctly because of wrong EPCS4 configuration.

    Thanks for help.
