EPCQ256 programming error on Cyclone V E Development Kit

Hi,

A few things to clarify:

1. Physically verify the flash device installed on your board. The part number (e.g., EPCQ256, EPCS128) should be printed directly on the chip.
2. In Quartus Programmer, use “Auto Detect” to see which devices are recognized on the JTAG chain.
3. How you convert to the .jic file? When converting your .sof to .jic, be sure to select the exact flash device that matches the part number on your board.
4. Ensure your board is properly powered and all JTAG connections are secure.
5. Use a supported version of Quartus (13.1 or newer) when working with EPCQ256.
