Occasional ContributorDoes QPP support incremental compilation?
It appears that Quartus Prime Pro (ver. 18.0 or later) does not support incremental compilation. The documentation does not discuss incremental compilation, and the Design Partitions Window does not have a field for netlist type. What is the story? Thanks.

Quartus Prime Pro uses a different synthesis engine thus having a different structure compare to Quartus Prime Std. They will no longer have incremental compilation, you can still set the design partition windows in pro but it will require you to study a different document. I will answer it here.
SeadogThanks. I was looking at that document, but wasn't sure if it was applicable, since I don't really think of what I am doing as a block-based design.
