arria-10-gx dev ttack won't install on x86_64
could you advise which exactly OS to install on x86_64 in order for intel dev stack script to work correctly, please? Tried with ubuntu 18,20 with various kernel versions 5.4, 5.8 - it won't work

Based on my understanding, Alternative you could apply an Intel 90-Day Evaluation License use with Quartus Pro/Standard. Login to Intel® FPGA Self Service Licensing Center and request the Quartus evaluation free license here https://licensing.intel.com/
1) Go to Sign up for Evaluation or Free licenses
2) Select Intel® FPGA EVALUATION-LIC
3) # of Seats is always 1
4) Check the T&C box
5) Add the required options
6) Click Get License button
The license will be sent to email that you register with

Thank you for following up
So it is not possible to run the hello world example on the PAC without a paid license? Without the Quartus Standard /Pro Software?
You do not provide a free trial developers license to confirm things are working at all?
Which OS will support installing the PAC acceleration stack [ dev] installation script in a way it will be possible to run the diagnostic/ hello world example to confirm the PAC card works at all?

@AR_A_Intel At another thread Intel representative pointed out that PAC acceleration stack installer is not supposed to wirk for driver installation; instead the've sent me to instructions from opae website which resulted in nothing but this

so far I am interested to confirm that the card just works e.g. with the most tiniest hello world example or another diagnostic test if possible
any directions here? I was looking previously in
but it would say PAC not detected on ubuntu 18/20
on executing
sudo fpgasupdate $OPAE_PLATFORM_ROOT/hw/samples/nlb_mode_0/bin/\ nlb_mode_0_unsigned.gbsdespite showing lspci outputs

Hello
Welcome to INTEL forum. Based on my understanding. ubuntu version is not an officially support OS for Devkit. An unsupported platform means that some things may work, but others not, and we won't put any resources into debugging or diagnosing. We recommended to use Windows as it was tested before. Arria 10 GX tested with Quartus v15.1 and Operating system support
