Help with something on board
Hello,
I have the MAX10 DE10-Lite, could someone explain me what exactly this does? I have marked it with yellow on the picure.
Sorry if the question is a bit odd im kinda new to this and i was wondering what could u do with it. Like is the 5v as input or output? what could u do with it etc.
Thank you for your time.
That is JP6. It is a 2pin header that allows you to supply 5V power to the board thru it. It is input to the board only.
The connector is diode-or'ed with the USB 5V power input so that power to the board can come from either source (or both).
Most users will just supply 5V power to the board thru the USB cable which also supports the USB Blaster programming functionality.
