Cyclone 10 LP Evaluation Kit Configured LED not lit.

Have had this device for some 2 weeks

After trying to download golden ref system from

Board test system on next power up only blue power

LED on. Reset and configure buttons have no effect.

Jtagconfig says no JTAG devices found. Lsusb shows

device altera on usb bus so cable OK.

Is it possible to reconfigure device using jtag port

and usb blaster or by some other means ?

Do I just have a dead device ?

What warranty applies to this device ? No mention

in supplied documentation.

    Hi John,

    If you using jtag header check the sw1.4.

    Use embedded blaster on board and check if you can program.

    Try to load below file attached .jic file (for epcq128) using usb port.

      OK Thanks that has fixed it. Now configure led on and 3 bit counter on other leds

      I must have overwritten the flash somehow. Was afraid I might have blown the board up.

      I followed the procedure on page 16 of ug_c10lp_eval_kit.pdf.

      4.4.2 Program on-board EPCQ flash with the TEST.jic file which actually

      seems to be epcq64.

        Yes ,TEST.jic file which actually for epcq64.
