Why are my Nios® V BSP Editor changes saved, when I select the 'Don't save' option in the Nios® V BSP Generator?

Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 21.3 and later,  the "don't save" option in the Platform Designer Nios® V BSP Generator may not work correctly, and the edited setting may remain visible / applied.

Resolution

To work around this problem, the "don't save" option should not be used.

This problem is scheduled to be resolved in a future release of the Nios® V BSP Generator tools.
