what kind of buzzer do you connect?
there are buzzers that just need power to buzz. If you want to ad a speaker try search this forum for speaker and beep. There are some threads that may help. If you then still need help, feel free to ask. - Altera_Forum

Leds is an output pin and what do you get from the LDR? analog digital? Please submit a new thread, if there is no similar one, and put these details in as well.

thanks, the ldr serves as the analog input to the fpga and the led serves as the output.depending on the state of the ldr,if the ldr is giving a low voltage to the input pin,the led will not come on but if it gives a high voltage the led will come on.my problem is do i need an adc to help convert the signal to digital or how can i make the project work or become a reality

1. Read: this (http://www.alteraforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=37986)
2. dont reply but create a NEW thread on this forum. This keeps everything tidy. 3. What is your problem? Search the web for ADC in order to learn how to read an analogue signal. A digital output should not be too difficult. 4. Do you have any experience with an FPGA, HDL or hardware development? - Altera_Forum
