VHDL help

Hello everyone, i am new here this is my first post =) i really need some help this is for school, and am asked to write data parity check for NOC but i don't know what to do so please help me, here i attach the code crossbar.vhd i receive from school because when i paste the code here "The text that you have entered is too long (13515 characters). Please shorten it to 10000 characters long." that's why i attached here

    my problem is i can't understand the code that i attach and how to write parity check

    So, I suggest you look some material of VHDL and try to understand what this code do. One thing, this is the top level, there are some components instantiated. You have to get the code sources of these components too.
