Reassign old Quartus Licenses to new HostID?

Hello Intel Team,

Our company has aquired a number of Quartus II Licenses back in 2013. The License was assigned to a person and HostID that is no longer with our Company. Naturally we would like to reassign the License.

We also do not have access to the self licenseing portal since the license was purchased before this tool was available and there are no licenses listed.

I already conctacted general support for this and was told no one can help me and post of the forums. Could someone get in touch with me to rectify this issue?

    Even back then, licenses only lasted a year. Do you have some type of perpetual license?

      Yes. All the license.dat lines for each license state:

      IE:

      # FEATURE START
      # The following is a license file for the Quartus II Subscription Edition Floating
      # Number of seat licenses is 3
      # No license expiration date

      # FEATURE START
      # The following is a license file for MAX+PLUS II VHDL
      # Number of seat licenses is 3
      # No license expiration date
