Questa on QPP 26.1 not supported on Ubuntu 24.04?

Hello,

I'm running into the following error when trying to run a simulation using Questa Starter Edition as part of QPP 26.1 on Ubuntu Linux 24.04:

** Fatal: (vsim-3828) Could not link 'vsim_auto_compile.so': cmd = '/opt/altera_pro/26.1/questa_fse/gcc-10.3.0-linux_x86_64/bin/g++ -shared -fPIC -B/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu ....

There are many linker errors that follow, so it seems there are library incompatibilities.   

I have attached the QPP 26.1 SW Support Matrix, and I see that Questa isn't supported on Ubuntu 24.04.   Before I start trying to fix this problem myself, I would appreciate learning about known workarounds or plans to issue a patch, so Questa wll be supported with Ubuntu 24.04. 

Note that I have found some old stack overflow and forum posts about deleting the Questa local libraries.
