Quartus Standard ampcrypt encryption files

I am in the process of using ampcrypt to encrypt a design for use with Quartus Standard.

Is is possible to encrypt any text file with ampcrypt (as part of a larger design), or does it only support HDL source files?

    I've reviewed the ampcrypt documentation and no longer require any support with this, thanks!
