Quartus Prime Pro free license for Cyclone 10 GX not generating time limited SOF

Hello,

I'm trying to compile a design using Quartus Prime Pro 24.2 including some IP blocks such asTriple Speed Ethernet Controller.

I've haven't installed any license since for Cyclone 10 GX the software should be free.

Problem: I get an Error (23714): Can not generate programming files for your current project because you do not have a valid license. Visit the Intel FPGA Self-Service Licensing Center at https://licensing.intel.com
Warning(115005): Unlicensed IP: "Triple-Speed Ethernet (6AF7 00BD)"
...

I supposed that if I don't have yet the license for this core I could generate time limited SOF files?

How to do that?

    Hello,

    For a reason I don't understand, I rebuild my design today and now the time-limited SOF is well generated with messages "Intel FPGA IP Evaluation Mode feature is turned on for the following cores" displayed, which was not the case the day before.

    So my problem solved itself!

    Hi,


    For Quartus Pro you need a license. If not you need to have a evaluation license.
