Quartus Prime Lite 24.1 Hangs with de0 board

Hello,

I have a bunch of computers that have Quartus Prime Lite 24.1. I'm running Windows 11 24H2. When I attach the DE0 board and go into programmer, the USB-Blaster driver shows up. I click Auto-Detect, pick my device ID and everything shows up fine. When I close that window and go back to Quartus. It hangs and becomes unresponsive. I've tried it on another computer with just a base install of Windows and have the same issue. The only log I can find is in the Event Viewer where I get an application hang error Event 1002. I've tried reinstalling Quartus, reinstalling the USB-Blaster driver, Clean install of Windows. Has anyone ran into this before? Quartus seems to run fine without accessing the DE0 board. I'm thinking it's a driver issue, but the only drivers I can find come with Quartus and they are from 2017. Thank you.

    Hi Mike D,

    Sorry for the late response in this,

    Have you try re-installing with all the suspicious anti-virus, anti-malware, vnc turned off?

    Or could you try the individual file installation?

    If the problem still exist, could you try with Standard version? Does the problem exist with Standard version?
