Occasional ContributorQuartus did not start
Hi,
Since the switch to European Summer Time we cannot start Quartus Prime 2025 in Windows 11.
Error Message:
The application could not be started correctly (0xc0000142)
What could be the reason for that?

billmaxSame with QuartusPrimePro 24.1, started late last week. Windows Application event log ID 1000, with no useful information. Pop-up Application error 0x142 as noted in the original post.
I've got a full PML log from SysInternals ProcessMonitor of the failed start if it would help.

{amended to add: multiple machines under Win11, similar failure without popup on another Win10 machine)

we installed the patch but the same behavior unfortunately.

Hello, we are experiencing exactly same error on multiple machines with Quartus Prime Pro 25.1.1.
It's started last week. Please help.

Have you installed the patch:

Or just got to 26.1 that came out yesterday.

The Installer for 26.1 generates same error.
