Quartus 9.0 Support & Installation for ACEX 1K (EP1K50TC144-3) on Windows 11

We are looking for a software tool that supports place and route and generates a programmable file for ACEX 1K (EP1K50TC144-3) devices.

We are using Windows 11, and it seems like Quartus 9.0 supports the ACEX 1K device. Please confirm whether Quartus 9.0 fully supports this device and works on Windows 11.

Additionally, Please share the Quartus 9.0 installation file or provide a download link?

Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
because Quartus 9.0 has been released before newer Windows OS, supported OS are as specified in above quoted Quartus 9.0 "Software Requirements" (9.0/quartus/readme.txt). Nevertheless Quartus 9.0 (and even older versions) are working for me well under Windows 10. I'm not sure about Windows 11, but you still have the option to run Windows or Linux version in a virtual machine.

    Regards
    Frank

    Hi,
I can report that I see Quartus 9.0 working under Windows 11, both 32- and 64-Bit version. I was able to compile an old ACEX 1k design.

    Regards

    Frank
