Quartus 13.1, file format of the VHDL editor is UTF8

How can I change the output format of the file .vhd file edited with the Quartus internal editor. After installation It seems to be in UTF8 format, because when I open a project designed with a previous version of quartus (9.1) there are some mis interpreted characters.
