Ql 25.1 std Lite version Questa starter FPGA Alteral edition 64 2025.3

Hi support

Last semester my students stuggled with the configuration of IP (ADC) the support engineers advise my students to use the 23.xx One student got working however the question is do we need to requestt another license for Questa starter FPGA Alteral edition 64 2025.3 or will the current license we have work with this veriosn of 23.xx and alod will the lastest QL  25.11 xx work with configuirn the ADC and other IP core that this version requitred to use eralier version? Thanks for your  help/time.

    The license has been confirmed/solved. We need closure on which version is best for the ADC configuration, as the QL 25.11 does not work??? thanks

      Since the license problem had been resolved, please file a new thread with title ADC configuration best version for the new question issued.

        There was ew thread this has open for several months at this time  confirmed my student, who graded to 24.1 QL. My request to confirm if the  issue with ADC was resolved its ok I assume it was not updated 

        Not resolved and its ok. We downgrade already in our lab.

      Yes, we are using the Max 25.1 sts Lite. We were instructed not to use this version to configure the ADC. There are bugs. My student last semester downgraded to QL 24 or 23. And we got working, most of the students have QL 25.11. Do we all need to download to 23.xx, or have QL 25.11 bugs been fixed??? Can you confirm this?

    Yes, same license can be used for different Questa Starter Edition version

    Licenses are not version specific.  You have a number of strange version numbers and abbreviations here, but you can get a no-cost license for Quartus Prime Lite (and Questa) and it doesn't matter what version you are using.

    The latest version of Quartus Lite is 25.1.
