Printing signal tap

I would like to print out a time slice of the signal tap output.

What I would like to see is the list of signals on the left and the waveforms on the right, but only for a selected slice of time.

I want to print out exactly what I have on the current display.

But SignalTap wants to print out all 276 pages.

I went to print preview and selected only the pages I wanted (page 1 for the signal names, page 120 for the waves),

but SignalTap seems to have shifted the page numbers and printed out the following pages.

I went back to try again, but SignalTap will only display the last page I printed, even though I select the full print command.

There has to be a better way to do what I am attempting.

    You can File->Export... to a .vcd file and take your data elsewhere.

    Modelsim printing is a little bit better, but similar to Dave if it is going in a document, I use Modelsim to create the scene and then screenshot and image editing software to finish it off.

    For Modelsim images, I typically print to PDF, import them into Inkscape, make them pretty, export them as PDF, and bring them into my Latex (pdflatex) docs.

    For SignalTap II, even though you can take the data into Modelsim, or directly into MATLAB, I prefer to have the figures look like the SignalTap II GUI, as generally I'm writing a tutorial style document showing how to use the tool.

    It would be nice if Altera added a print option like Modelsim that allowed you to print a sample range, and signals list. Hmm, maybe we should all click on the Quartus Feedback link and suggest it :)
