ModelSim License

Hi, I have bought a developement kit from Altera and installed the full version of QuartusII. I also installed the ModelSim-Altera 6.1g, but when I try to open ModelSim I get an error message: "...

I agree with QuartusPenguin. Altera does not offer the Modelsim-Altera software with development kits, although you should be able to obtain a Modelsim-Altera web edition license from the web.

I found this link on altera.com: http://www.altera.com/support/licensing/lic-choose.html. All you have to do is click on "Quartus® II Web Edition software and the ModelSim®-Altera® Web Edition software."
