ModelSim AE - licensing not working when logged onto as a different user

I am trying to work on one of my colleagues computers which has a Quartus and ModelSim license, however when I log on as a different user, the ModelSim application does not work saying there is a licensing issue. When my colleague logs on he has no trouble. Is there any work around to this? or is a license file explicit to only one user?

    Hi Carrillo,

    Make sure that you install the Quartus, Modelsim etc and have license.dat in Public Folder where every user can access it. This issue could be due to Quartus cannot detect the license path as it might be in other user which cant be accessed

      All folders are public and are able to be accessed from other users. Any other possible solutions?
