MAX+PLUS II Software download for MAX9000 Series

Hello Intel Community, we’re currently facing issues with loading firmware on EPM9320LC-84 FPGA. We did not have any issues with MAX7000 series, which are mostly compatible with Quartus.

However, we really need the software that supports EPM9320 (MAX9000 series) to support the hardware needed for production use in our site. We are avoiding any major hardware re-spins or modifications as of now since it would take some time, so we're working on the current design. Are there any other ways to obtain the software without downloading from third party sites (since we will be using a company PC)? Or if there is an e-mail where I could send my inquiry to?

Thank you!

That part series went EOL over eight years ago, back in 2016. But you probably know that.

What happened to the original design environment you used back in the day?

You had to have a Windows XP (probably) or similar PC with all the software installed and running.

    Try this: https://archive.org/search?query=subject%3A%22maxplusII%22&sort=title

and see if you can find something usable.

Maybe Intel/Altera will let you sign an NDA and give you a private download (if then can, who knows?).

May I know if there is a valid NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) signed between Intel/Altera and your company?

I will send you a separate email to get your company details and the NDA number.
