License question

I have a question about the license,

how can I check which FPGA families are supported by the license file that I have currently in use?

Thanks

in general, supported devices aren't called out in the license file. Quartus II Web Edition only has support for limited families while Subscription Edition supports all families:

there are some rare exceptions of older devices or families that require a separate license entry but i can't remember specifics

i saw your other thread, there shouldn't be any problems targeting Cyclone II

which IP are you using that require a license?

It's weird, Im not using any IP, I just did the tutorial "4. Primitive library tutorial" from the "Handbook DSP vol.3".

Modelsim works perfectly, then when I try to launch the Compilation in Quartus I get a message saying that I dont have the license of that FPGA family

For example the jgp shows the error that I get targeting the Cyclone II (for any board).

Do you mean the .mdl file or all the files after the simulation?
