Thank you for your response.
Following your instructions, I checked the release notes from 25.1 back to 23.1, but I could not find the answer I was looking for in the release notes.

Should I go back further and check the release notes?
I feel that the section you referred me to does not mention “how to determine the tool version from an external source,” so I am asking again.
